Oscar Delahoya is a *****

It looks that way but it's not. It was like a sparring session for Floyd. He knew he couldn't hurt Oscar so he went on cruise mode and defeated him with very little effort.
Now Oscar wants a rematch and who is Floyd to turn it down. Cotto wouldn't, Margarito wouldn't, nobody would.Comment

Good, so your thing is to go after Floyd because he is the top guy.
My point is, whether on Top or at the bottom, all the fighters are motivated by money. The # 2 guy Cotto, # 3 and the #4 guy.
Now who can stop all this money nonsense and leave the young/prime fighters nowhere to go but fight each other? It's Oscar, he is the odd man out.
That would be like if Mike Tyson came out of retirement and took away 8 or 9 months (to have time to promote the fight properly) of Wlad Klitschko's career to fight him.
Who would blame Klitschko? He wants the money like everybody else. Tyson would be the blame because he doesn't deserve a shot at Klitschko but would probably get it due to his huge drawing power and popularity.
That would make Tyson a ***** for like it makes Oscar a ***** now.
Sidenote: I think I just wrote my best post to nail my point. TKO victory for The VLad.Last edited by Vladimir303; 03-12-2008, 10:47 PM.Comment

I'm going after Floyd because he is the top guy, yes. The top guy is the decision maker, and this top guy decided he wanted to face Oscar over Cotto, so he made it happen.Good, so your thing is to go after Floyd because he is the top guy.

Oscar can only worry about himself. He is doing the right thing for his legacy and his fans by taking on the toughest challenge out there. Mayweather is the one choosing money over legacy.
Weren't you the one just criticizing Oscar for being money motivated, but now ALL fighters are money motivated?
Nope, Klitschko would be to blame, Tyson couldnt be blamed for taking the toughest challenge out there.Last edited by BmoreBrawler; 03-12-2008, 10:50 PM.Comment

They are both to blame. Oscar should fight PFP fighter at the pound for pound weight. He should go down to 147 (not in the middle). IMO I think Oscar was a better fighter at 147. Once he tried to move up more the other boxers exposed him more (sterm/BHOP). I think he is trying to get back to were he should have stayed. TOO Late, but let see is he can prove the world wrong. I am so close to hating both of them PBF/ODH.Comment

So Tyson shouldn't be blamed for using his position to cutt out other fighters who are more deserving of a title shot or title unification?I'm going after Floyd because he is the top guy, yes. The top guy is the decision maker, and this top guy decided he wanted to face Oscar over Cotto, so he made it happen.

Even though those same guys would do the exact same thing if they were in Wlad Klitschko's position?Comment

Oscar UD's Forrest, maybe Winky too. Winky would be having a tough time with Oscar's speed. I doubt he has much reason to fear those 2. If Winky can win big against Pavlik, a fight with DLH would make dollars and sense.Comment

If all fightrs are money motivated and if Oscar no longer is a top player then who is to blame? The Top guy who wants to make alot of money like all the other top fighters OR the past his prime guy who also wants to make alot of money but technically no longer deserves to fight the best but does so because he has the po$ition of power
.
I think the answer is obviousLast edited by Vladimir303; 03-12-2008, 10:59 PM.Comment
