if this doesnt answer his question then I dont know what will.

and Pavilik would give Winky a one sided beating.

I'm not sure why it is considered such a unilateral decision to "not fight". The opponent deserves some credit.

Sure, 10lbs is a lot, but the fight went to the scorecards so I'm not sure how it really played a factor.

for one, beating jermain like twice is impressive, especially how he came back to knock him out the first time, he was the middleweight king, he beat hopkins 2x, draw with wright, and beat ouma and spinks, and was undefeated.. his record and the fact that he is middleweight champ speaks for itself, he deserves a p4p spot.. he had one of the biggest, if not the biggest, years in boxing last year

Anybody who thinks Pavlik dosen't belong in the P4P rankings is either a ****** or a RACIST....We will see a mix of both in this post.
You may be a ******ed racist, but at least you're honest.

I'm white... and look at my favorite fighters. 2 black and 1 Cuban. Did I plan it that way? **** no. There is more to boxing than race you know...

Seems like a strange thing to drop him for... Mayweather hasn't moved an inch and he is going to be inactive for a long ass time.

Seems even more strange that they figured that **** out this week.

            Weird... that's all I'm saying.
becaus they all go with teh flavor of the month......

winky was #3..lost to #6-7 and gets to #10??

hatton was #10, looked like he didnt even belong in the same ring as floyd and they put him in#8????

cotto beats judah(coming off losses in important fights) and they put him in #10?????then he beats mosley(unranked) and they put him at 7??

rafa marquez(#4) loses to unranked vazquez and then to #5 vazquez and he is higher than winky???

seriuously im not saying tehy're wrong...but the ring list is just very inconsistent....

pavlik beats a top 15-top5-champ at middleweight...at leats i think he deserves his #10 more than cotto deserves his #7 or hatton #8...

juan manuel marquez went from unranked straight to #4.....for beatinga hasnt fought anyone with a chance in 3 years barrera

Also, the ease at which Taylor beat Hopkins should show you how easily a real top p4p fighter like Winky should have been able to finish the job vs an even older hopkins.
but winky didnt have the size to exploit hopkins' weakness like taylor......and hopkins didnt have any stamina at mw anyomre....thats why he fought in spurts...since going up to light heavy he has regained his stamina....which makes hopkins pretty much better than he ever was since 2002.....not to metion the dirty tricks and the fact that it was a close fight...

Hatton was number 8 and lost to the number 1 so he didn't move.

I don't see how Pavlik has managed to get onto the p4p lists either to be honest. I could see Haye getting on there before Pavlik.

Kelly is like NY Giants, majority were writing him off against either Miranda(who was the hottest contender at that time) and whom he beat the **** out of. Then the majority wrote him off against Taylor, thinking that Taylor's athletism and speed would be too much for Pavlik. Pavlik knocked him out. Then 6 months later Pavlik beat Taylor again proving that it was no lucky punch the first time, that Pavlik can box as well as **** and can outwork the slicker and faster opposition.

But no matter what the majority thinks, Pavlik just keeps on rolling.
