Anybody who thinks Pavlik dosen't belong in the P4P rankings is either a ****** or a RACIST....We will see a mix of both in this thread.

Maybe they decided Winky's lack of activity and him not having a fight in the near future was good enough reason to drop him.

Seems like a strange thing to drop him for... Mayweather hasn't moved an inch and he is going to be inactive for a long ass time.

Anyways, he is undefeated. He is the ruler of the middleweight division. And the bottom part of the P4P list are guys with losses anyway. I'm not really sure how after this week in boxing he jumped Winky Wright but... I guess that's what happened?

Thats my point....Pavlik even now is not a better fighter then Winky Wright.

I think its the dominance in which he went from the bottom to the top... he went through EVERYONE and pretty much knocked everyone out in the process... 2007 started with knocking out a prospect, knocking out a contender, then knocking out the middleweight champion... 6 months later beating him in the rematch... thats a p4p fighter...

He proved himself to be where he is at now, why discredit his accomplishments?
We will find out whos better when he fights Winky.

Yeah, but if we based the p4p list totally around inexperienced armchair analysts' fetishes for certain styles of boxing, the p4p list would lose what little credibility it has. I dont care how slick you think Winky Wright looks, if he cant back it up against a one-dimensional Taylor or old Hopkins, he doesnt deserve to be on the list.

Well, the problem with that is, Winky has not proven himself at 160 (officially). While I thought he deserved the decision against Taylor, only one judge saw it that way. That and he is just coming off of a loss against Hopkins, so...

I don't have a problem with him hopping over Wright, I just thought the timing was really ****ing weird.
