i can make your sesame street argument too. check it out.

there is no way that campbell will ever be back, he was winning the fight and like an idiot dropped his hands and got cold clocked by robbie peden. how could he possibly go on with life knowing that he lost his opportunity to be world champion because he acted like a 12 year old

    or

why would sugar ray EVER take that rematch with duran, duran came UP in weight and made him pis blood for two weeks after in a montreal hotel, he had all the money and fame in the world and now its all gone, how will he ever overcome?

feel me? now stop it dog, i just proved to you that your argument is ****.

Like I said in previous posts, this remains to be seen. I considered Juan mentally broken down and you did not. Hope Juan will fight next the loser of Casa-Katsidis so that we can assess if he's actually mentally broken down.

Casa is slick and old like Nate. Katsidis is a relentless volume puncher also like Nate. Any of these two is a good test for Juan.

    Are you satisfied big dog?

I dont see how anyone like that can win a fight. Campbell did what he had to do by taking advantage of Diaz's eye and he did a great job and won. I am telling you guys campbell did not win because he is the better fighter he just worked his ass off to do what he had to do. People are making that cut out to be nothing give any boxer in the world a cut like that and lets see if they can finish the fight, or even win it.

that eye wasn't the difference, if he had it in him, he'd a found a way to win.

there have been fighters in waaay worse condition than diaz and still found a way to win, lets not make excuses for our boy.

          he got bested by campbell.

i agree, cambell is no where near in the same class as diaz, he just out worked diaz and even that would not have been enough for him if he hadnt done everything that lesser skilled boxers who cant depend on boxing skills to win them the fight do, wich is rough house, boderline illegal tactics.

Good! Before the Campbell fight, I favor Juan over either Casa or Katsidis but now I have second thoughts. We will just wait and see. Anyway these are good matchups (unless Casa will be running allnight) and surely we'll enjoy it.

Now I got to piss somewhere. I'll be back (sounds like Juan )

Im not trying to make excuses for diaz, he did get beat. Im just calling it how I see it though, and I just dont see cambell as a better fighter then diaz anymore then i see jr jones as a better fighter then barrera.

                  yeap - i'm with you.

                  ali had his norton
                  barrera his jones

obviously the class of opponents that diaz has beat are better than campbell, i'm in no rush to call campbell the truth-just a diaz conqueror.

however, i like a focused campbell over katsidis and casamayor.

I still think Diaz wins a rematch, but lets say he loses, just like you all are saying, that does not make campbell a better fighter. Raheem beat Morales and that means nothing, Morales is a future HOF and Raheem is struggling to get fights. I still am positive the eye made a difference in the outcome of the fight as everyone can see he won 4 or even 5 of the first 6 rounds. A block in his road came and he could not get around.

Morales was at the end of the road by the time Raheem beat him. Campbell, at 12 years his senior, bested a prime, undefeated Juan Diaz. Why Raheem is struggling to get fights is not because he is an inferior fighter. If he was, he'd have no problem getting fights. He can't get fights because the networks don't want him because he's a stinker.

Champions find ways to win when there isn't one. You need to rise to another level when the situation is thick, and it was Campbell who rose, not Diaz. I don't know how you'd pick Diaz in a rematch when Diaz almost didn't come off his stool for the 11th round. Every round it took him longer to answer the bell. He didn't want to continue.

There are definitely fighters out there who can beat Campbell, but Diaz's style is custom-made for Campbell. Same as in the Kid Diamond fight, guys who come to Campbell are his specialty.
