What do you consider a more intriguing matchup? Kessler vs. Miranda or Bute vs. Joppy?

Bottom line is, Kessler is coming off a loss. Miranda represents exciting fresh blood in the division. That is a fight that needs to happen. Bute does not seem to want to fight anyone with a heartbeat so Kess will not get a fight with him. Mundine does not represent a big fight in the US like Kessler wants. The only matchups out there that make sense for him right now is Taylor and Miranda. Miranda is offering his services.

When you think Kessler will win easily, why do you keep brushing off a fight with Miranda as a fight that should not happen. No offense but it makes you appear like you are trying to protect Kessler when he can do a damn fine job on his own in the ring.

I also think Kessler can win, but if he makes one mistake against someone like Miranda, it can go the other way. That is exactly why this fight is such an intriguing one.

Sorry man but I disagree. Joe vs. Mikkel was shown on HBO over here and nobody cared. They were both unknown qualities over here so nobody but the die hard fans watched. Miranda is very well known. He is an ESPN and HBO regular. Casual fans even know him and tune in to see him fight. He represents the sport in it's most brutal and raw form. That is what attracts the fans over here. Kessler needs someone like him to break out over here.

Well thats not Calzaghe and Kesslers fault. That fight fans in the US are really bias and do not follow top notch boxers.

To some extent, yes the US fans are finicky. Joe and Mikkel could have made themselves known over here a lot sooner though by actually fighting a couple times over here. Boxing over here is overshadowed by team sports a great deal, so talent alone in boxing does not reap the rewards it should like it does in Europe.

Over here you have to scratch and fight for position, make lots of noise and more than anything make yourself seen. Miranda has all that going for him already, which is why a fight with him makes sense.

Pavlik's promoter said recently that for the rest of this year, he will not have Pavlik fight in any more PPV fights. He is doing this so the general public can see more of him, which will make him more bankable down the road.

hahaha. Sorry I just read this one again. Mundine, an Australian, would come to the US to fight Kessler, a European, and burn a US flag? Sorry man that makes no sense at all. Only thing he would earn is a court date and flight back to Australia via deportation. No North American casual fans would care to see it.
