They have both been in with the best! Almost every boxing fan knows Kessler and Miranda! So their names are big! Miranda is known by European boxing fans and Kessler has found his way to American boxing fans so its not like a "Who's He?" fight! I think Miranda has fought tougher opponents than Kessler! Who has Kessler beaten? Markus Beyer went to Denmark and gave away the belt for a million euros, his biggest pay day! Beyer aint give a **** 'bout boxing no more, he just wanted a big pay day!

So who has Kessler fought besides Calz? and Beyer?

Miranda has one punch knockout power yes but he hasn't looked great at supermiddle. Now before someone jumps down my throat using the highlight reel knockout pertaining to his last fight. I was there live for that fight and he looked very slow out of the gate up until that point. of the knockout. I think Kessler outclasses him badly. Skills pay the bills...not just raw power.

The SMW division is much stronger than tthe MW. How else can you explain the fact that the likes of Duddy and Lockett are rated as #1 contenders?

Miranda couldn't cut it at the big time in MW so I fail to see how he's going to do it in the higher and tougher division. In my earlier list I forgot about Taylor, so I couldn't put Miranda higher than #9 in that division.

He needs to fight somebody worth a damn at SMW before calling out the #1 contender.

2008-02-14 I went to the US to see Kelly Pavlik against Jermain Taylor and I were shocked when the announced Pavlik as the winner of the fight. I truly believed that Taylor won the fight with SEVERAL points, but I'm just a boxer and not judge…These days we are working on who my next opponent is going to be, but there's nothing concrete yet. A fight against Winky Wright might be possible and I'm ready to meet everybody, as long as it will benefit my career.

unless he's fighting taylor he should fight miranda

and why would taylor fight him when he could fight RJJ and trinidad?

i highly doubt that there's anything in the works for a fight between taylor and kessler...

this would be a big money fight and would draw a huge audience...

if miranda is so far beneath him then why isn't he taking this fight?
