Other way round. By saying Miranda is a risk to Kessler, you are under estimating Kessler.

What has Miranda done?

Sloppy or not at times, lacking defense at times Miranda is a dangerous fighter and even more so at 168. I personally would like to see any of the fights you mentioned above.....including however a Miranda/Kessler fight.You be you and I'll be me.

Miranda simply aint in Kesslers league. None of there leagues. He wouldn't beat Mundine, Bute, Calzaghe or Froch for that matter. (has a chance against Froch).

Conclusion : Many Americans have only seen Kessler fight once. They have not seen a single fight from Bute or Mundine. So they think there ****, and the fighter who they see a lot on television being Miranda is over rated by them.

Sorry guys Miranda just doesn't cut it as a SMW. Kessler TKO early.

No i see myself as knowing a lot more than a lot of people in this thread is not arrogance.

Simply because a lot of people in this thread haven't seen Mundine or Bute fight. Or Kessler fight other than Calzaghe fight for that matter.

i'm not talking trash. i think kessler would win. i know miranda don't bring much to the table but that power punch. and thats a lot of power if he caught call the doctors. from watching his last couple of fights miranda has been learning how to use his jab to step up his power punch and he is also learning how to cut off the ring. the only difference btw him and pavlik/kessler is they will jab you all day esp when you take away they power hand.(kessler does have a nice uppercut but need to learn how step up his oppenent with it)

Miranda was at #10 until JT moved up.
But to put Green, Bika, Andrade, Lacy above him is laughable.
Your boy has one loss to the SMW champ and you think he should stay as the #1 contender.

Miranda has one real loss to the MW champ. He is bigger than Kessler so he coming from MW should not be an issue. Why he was #1 contender across the board at MW before Pavlik and not ranked at SMW is absurd. He was 192lbs in the ring for his last fight. Size is not going to be in issue!

Before the end of 2008 Miranda will easily be top 3 SMW, and may hold a belt if the opportunity comes his way.
