There is no way that Kessler is ducking Miranda without a good reason. I imagine that both Kessler and Taylor will have tune-up fights in the summer to get back on track after their losses.
If Kessler and Taylor were to meet towards the end of the year then there is little for Kessler to gain and a lot to risk taking on Pantera now.
That being said I think Kessler is technically much better and give Miranda an absolute lesson a la Calzaghe-Lacy.

I didnt even know that there were talks between camps that Miranda could fight Kessler. I thought Miranda vs. Pascal is as good as done deal for June?
Maybe Pascal realised that he dont want to face Miranda as he saw him knock Banks out with a helluve punch. But i can understand Kessler, at least a bit. He lost his last fight and propably wants to regroup first and Miranda is a verry tough man to beat, i thinks Kessler wants no part of Miranda, at least not now. Maybe next year? Man i just hope Miranda finds an good opponent for June!

What!!! Brähmer 2?? I tell you something Brähmer is german, im german, but Brähmer is NO Top5, what have you smoking? I know Brähmer i saw him fight a few times on german TV but this guy is an idiot and not a a special boxer and his chin is china, he would get knocked out by Miranda verry soon. And Inkin? Hes a bit better than Brähmer, but nothing special also. Stieglitz 8? Why are you ranking all these guys so high? And where is Bute??

              1. Calzaghe
              2. Kessler
              3. Miranda
              4. Bute
              5. Lacy
              6. Taylor
              7. Pascal
              8. Inkin
              9. Mendy
              10. Froch

Thats my list and i think its much better than yours. Im not sure about Taylor because he has yet to fight as an supermiddle. Maybe he could be ranked higher.

Whatever Kessler's reasons are i don't think we can call this a duck. Miranda so far hasn't beaten anyone of note at supermiddle.

Please....... It's not me. It's them bleeeping alphabetboys.

I've seen Braemer to. If he is in the top 10 its at the bottom. But thats politics man. There is a good sanctioning fee waiting from the big german promoter (Sauerland or whatever).

Miranda Seeks Kessler... The Feelings Not Mutual

HOLLYWOOD, FL, March 6 - Despite offers to hold the bout in a neutral location and significant offers from both HBO and Showtime for the television rights to the bout, Mikkel Kessler seems to have decided to tuck his tail between his legs and walk away from a lucrative showdown with the feared ‘Pantera’, Edison Miranda.
