Miranda Seeks Kessler... The Feelings Not Mutual

What a fight this would of been! What the hell is wrong with Kesler? I havent heard anything about J.T wanting to fight Kesler, from what I hear it's either Roy jones or Trinidad next for Taylor.

Thats what i heard as well, Lou dibella(taylor's promoter) said Don king wanted the Trinidad/Taylor fight first then Maybe Taylor/RJJ.

New possible opponents 29-02-2008

The past months i have been travelling in Thailand and Europe, just to warm up to my next fight.

I have a friend I Thailand and I use his hotel as a base for all my stays in Thailand. Even though I travel a lot, I never stop training completely as I always run and lift weights.

2008-02-14 I went to the US to see Kelly Pavlik against Jermain Taylor and I were shocked when the announced Pavlik as the winner of the fight. I truly believed that Taylor won the fight with several points, but I'm just a boxer and not judge…

These days we are working on who my next opponent is going to be, but there's nothing concrete yet. A fight against Winky Wright might be possible and I'm ready to meet everybody, as long as it will benefit my career.

Found this from Kessler's site. It's a week old but I haven't seen it posted here.

Haven't heard anything else from Kessler since then.

It seems like he is hyping up a possible Taylor fight, I think Winky rejected the offer to fight Kessler.
Nothing official yet.

Doesnt surprise me, he was hurt my Calzaghe, do you really think he wants to get in there with arguably the hardest puncher in the division. Im sure he will stay true to his European roots, fight another weak titlist and claim hes one of the best, while never fighting true threats haha. But for real though, the TV money is there, the esposure is there, and according to a lot of people he will "outbox" Miranda easily, so I dont see any excuse and why he wouldnt take this fight.

Im sure this fight gets made, now that there will be some pressure on him, or at least we can hope.

To give Kessler a fair shake here just remember the guy just had hand surgery and might be wanting to try it out with a average opponet or give it more time , we havent heard why he declined so its all speculation .

So far the news I have checked the internet for this story and so far the only source I can find to it is Mr. Motor Mouth Miranda himself.

Yep. It's a press release from WARRIORS (most be Mirandas camp). Thereby meaning it's very biased.

However they are trying to generate interest to such a fight and from the look of it in this forum, the interest is definetely there.

I predict that this fight will come around late this year for sure. There will be some bad blood between the 2.

Kessler would put on a boxing clinic, both guys are exciting, i hope it happens, but right now i think Kessler is waiting to see what Taylor or Pavlik do
