Honestly man, I think Guerrero would totally thrash him. Bad.

And In reality, Vasquez is getting a tad bit overrated now. He's good though.

I've seen a lot of Guerrero and he doesn't impress me one bit, that's who I think he should go after, in fact. His oppostion has been weak and losing to Diaz and even a roided out orlando Salido casts some serious doubts about him. Litzau has a glass chin and that performance was good but shouldn't be taken as measure against elite competition.

Linares at 126 would beat Vazquez IMO.

Yeah the Litzau performance was a negative in my book.

He's a better fighter than what he showed against him.......not an easy contrast of styles and Litzau isn't exactly the easiest guy to fight.

He has a huge punch, fast hands, and plenty of will/heart.

But yeah, at least he did what he was supposed to.

I could see that but I would like to see Linares tested by someone better. He does seem to be a very complete fighter though and his size may be the decider.

              I agree with this.

But I also would like to see Vasquez in with someone other than a blown up Bantamweight and a well past his prime technician.

Well he did beat Gonzales though, that was impressive.

I see your point but I wasn't saying I wouldn't want to see Vazquez versus linares, what I was saying was I wanted to see Linares tested first since his opposition has been less than stellar and it would be a huge jump in class he may not be ready for. If you think Marquez was blown up by moving up 5 pounds from where he began his career 13 years ago, and washed up despite not being in a war practicaly his whole career because he was blowing people out, that's your opinion but i disagree.

My point was linares may not be ready.

Oh no, Chief I was referring to Larios being past his prime.

Don't get me wrong.......I'm not starting some hate agenda on Vasquez. I was only pointing out how I perceived those challenges.

And yeah I consider Marquez a bit blown up, because 5 hard pounds makes a huge difference in boxing and assessing people at their respective weight. Also it's clear that Marquez did however carry the power........so that's a bonus to Vasquez.

Larios, Marquez, Gonzales, Julio, Simonyan, and Hernandez.

Vasquez has been fighting by no means slouches, and tough guys. He's definitely deserved a top P4P ranking now......after the Marquez finish to the Trilogy. That's for sure.

But I still don't think his resume stacks up to Rafa's.

I mean that's clear we don't have to boxrec names now.

I can see that, since Rafael has a very good resume and dominated for so long, but for me Vazquez caught him and passed him with this trilogy, but I can see how you might consider Rafa's body of work more impressive.
