Being ranked a top 5 p4p fighter is not exactly an easy thing to do.

Cotto is the #1 ranked Ring contender and in their top 10 p4p list.

He's as "worthy" as anyone to fight Mayweather.
Not everyone holds up to Mayweather's standards. What part don't you get? Just because Cotto hasn't achieved what Floyd has doesn't mean he doesn't get a chance to fight.

OK you tell me what Calzaghe achieved 7 years into his career? Hopkins, Pacquiao, Marquez? Those are the guys above Cotto right?

When has a fighter ever been at the top and just decided, "Hey I've achieved more than these cats, I dont need to fight anymore." By your logic what does that make Hatton or De La Hoya?
thats right, he won't see that though.

But Why hasnt Cotto ever been a top 5 Fighter in the (Sport/League) of Boxing
        after 7 years of fighting...
Cotto fights in one of the most talented divisions. It's the equivalent of the Lakers being behind the Spurs.

Are you studying the socratic method or some ****? You cant really believe what you type.

The 7 years in excuse is the funniest part. Because hardly any top fighter that I can think of has achieved as much in that amount of time. A quick browse through Boxrec will probably prove my point.

If he is the equivalent to the Lakers and the Lakers are Ranked #2 in the League right now....

Why isnt Cotto ranked number 2 fighter in the Entire sport of Boxing...??

                    My question is:

WHY WONT ANY Creditable boxing writer or Organization wont even put Cotto in their TOP 5....

If Cotto is so Good, and if he has Fought TOP Competition...

WHY havent he never been consider a top 5 fighter yet after 7 years...???
