Scum.
what is there not to believe, a fact is a fact whether you like it or not. You can disagree, but cant say that a FACT is wrong. If I tell you 10+10=20 you can not argue that, it is a true statement. Same **** here. You can disagree, but the fact still remains he was THE WBA CHAMP. If he was PROVE me wrong.
You cant, a fact is a fact is a fact.
PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG.Last edited by My Name Is...; 03-01-2008, 01:37 AM.

Trinkets MEAN NOTHING.
GET A GRIP.
I can't believe you even argue the case!
nowhere did i say roy was THE heavyweight champion of the world
nowhere did i say he was the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world
My sig doesnt say THE heavyweight champion....
My sig doesnt say UNDISPUTED heavyweight champion of the world
It says... FORMER... heavyweight champion.... not THE... not undisputed...
Whether you believe it or not... has nothing to do with the fact that he won a heavyweight world championship fight...
End of discussion. he did.
Not the undisputed. He IS referred to as A former heavyweight champion.
If he wasnt.. then Cotto is not a welterweight champion, because cotto only has ONE title and is not the undisputed welterweight champion, and its the same WBA title roy held at HW... He is considered a welterweight champion.. and if he loses, he will be considered a former welterweight champion.
Why dont you call up hbo and tell them you dont agree with there network announcing him as a former heavyweight champion... tell them how there all idiots.
When Michael Buffer stops saying it... then I will...Last edited by THE REED; 03-01-2008, 01:39 AM.

YOUR PREACHING TO THE CHOIR HOMIE, AND KEEP ON GOING. I KNOW THIS, IT'S THESE OTHER GUYS WHO TRY TO PROVE A FACT, WRONG.
YOU JUST CANT DO IT. IF I AM WRONG AND HE WAS NOT THE WBA CHAMPION I'LL GIVE ALL OF MY POINTS UP AND LEAVE THIS ROOM RIGHT NOW. BUT THATS NOT GONNA HAPPEN, BECAUSE AGAIN, YOU CAN NOT PROVE A FACT WRONG.

ROY JONES JUNIOR
WBA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION
so regardless of what PEOPLE's OPINIONS are it doesnt matter, he was THE WBA CHAMPION. Point, Blank, Period.
Ibragimov is not a bum, he had a very successful amatuer career and won a silver medal in the olympics, only the great Felix Savon kept him from the gold.
The thread starter is making a point that Roy was not THE world heavyweight champ and he's right, he was simply a title holder, like Ibragimov or Maskaev.
