They'll be paying to see Ricky and Junior fight. That's the whole point of an all British showdown - two quality British fighters, fans paying to see them fight. Ok, so Ricky will have the greater support. A lot of that support still want to see him fight Junior more than anyone else.

just a couple days ago they were not interested at all... and now all of a sudden they offer him the fight. its obvious that team are tryin to shut the fans ups. i bet the offer made was ridiculous.

Sad but true. I like Hatton and I like his personality better than Mayweather but as a boxing fan, I want to see boxers fight the best opposition out there There will be no double standards over here as I expect Hatton to fight the biggest name in his division as I do Mayweather to fight the biggest in his as seen in Cotto. I can understand and respect their financial interests but I still like to see legacy and pride as most important or at least create the illusion for chrissakes.
