  • Hatton Camp: "Witter Priced Himself Out"

According to a recent interview with the Manchester Evening News, Ray Hatton, the father/manager of Ricky Hatton, said an offer had been made in the past to WBC junior welterweight champion Junior Witter, who turned the offer down, and his latest demand of 30% is beyond what he's worth. Hatton would get 70% how was witter pricing him self out, he holds the title at the moment and 30% seems fine to me.

Because Hatton would be looking to get about three million pounds, Witter would not be worth a million, because there is no way he commands close to that on his own. He was offered his highest ever payday and wanted more...

Best Light Welter On the planet

Witter could not lace rickys boots and down the road he will find that out. ill be surprised if he even gets past hopkins Theres only one ricky hatton bring on the americans. They can line them up and team hatton will knock them down while walking in a hatton wonderland

Even if this true just because a fighter is offered the highest payday of his career doesn't mean its a fair offer and needs to be accepted.

Witter's a bum, maybe he'll be happier fighting back in Doncaster in front of an old man and his dog?

He should be happy with what ever he gets because it's more then what he gets already.

If Witter was the best option for Hatton then he might get 30%. He isn't though, a much better option is Malignaggi, and a fight with Ricardo Torres would be more of a spectacle. Witter's ugly spoiling style will make it a stinker.
