I think peter will probably win, i agree that his punching power is overrated, but oleg has been inactive he has had that injury and isnt getting any younger.

There were many writers who drooled over Peter, and I annoyed them by being critical of their articles and kept saying, that he rabbit-punched all the time and should have been DQ'd; also that his managers built him up as a monster killer-puncher with opponents who had to led to the ring and propped against the ropes so that they wouldn't fall down before the fight got started. Believe me, I made enemies. I'd like Maskaev to win.

i agree Peter went into the Klitschko fight off of a thrilling victory over "Ford" Taurus Sykes... and was soundly beaten.... he came back against two no-hopers and then was given a handpicked opponent in Toney who couldnt have hurt him with a baseball bat.

to this date jameel mccline is the ony semi-legit heavyweight he has beaten and i say semi-legit because mccline has never actually beaten an opponent of any significance himself. mccline was outclassed by zuri lawrence for cryin out loud. maskaev, is a better fighter than mccline and will be in much better shape come fight time. i also like his chances. as i said earlier in this thread, maskaev stands a much better chance of pulling the upset than ibragimov did over wlad.
