It was a boring yet technically brilliant performance from Valuev..
And Full credit has been Given to Valuev

Klitschko VS Ibragimov was almost a carbon copy of that fight..
And Wlad has gotten nothing but ****..For doing what he had to do to win..

Why the double standard??... there is no rule that says a Unification fight MUST be a barnburner... All you need to do is win.. and That is what he did..

Excellent post, Welter. That deserves some K.

No, the difference is that Valuev's defense isn't good enough to prevent him from BEING hit, where Wlad's is.

He was less cautious against Peter and Brewster who are considerably more dangerous than Sultan imo.

I guess you weren't watching the same fight I was, because I saw Wlad throw that right hand numerous times. Hitting Ibragimov with it flush on at least one occasion, and you know as well as I do that Wlad does not deploy the right hand (yes I said deploy) unless he thinks he can get a KO with it. So, he DID go for the KO.

Last time i checked Valuev isnt talked about as the number one/Best heavyweight in the world, So yeah the standard which he is or was been held has to be totally different from Wlad.

That isnt double standard its just reality when you're at the top you're going to be scrutinize for every little thing, Mayweather had the samething with Baldomir.

There will always be people who criticise Wladimir, no matter what he does, who he beats, or how he defeats them.

It's doesn't seem to make sense that some people hate him, he seems like such a great guy and awesome fighter.

But he DID throw it. And (I can't believe I have to repeat this) he only throws it when he's going for the KTFO.

So as I said, he actually DID step it up.

                Now,

If Wlad defeats Thompson by brutal KO, *******s like Yahoo's Kevin Iole will just say Thompson was no good and give Wlad no credit.

If Wlad wins by dominant decision, they'll say he's boring.

No matter what he does or who he defeats, there are some *******s who will never write, post or speak a positive world about Wlad.

I think Wlad cops a lot on behalf of the terrible division in which he fights.

I like Wlad, I think he is good. But the HW division sucks and he is the man in it.

Tunney, his performance wasn't impressive at all and you can't deny that.
