you can run but not hide, Mayweather is running away from Miguel Cotto, all this bolony about Martial arts is only a scapegoat, the fight with Oscar is a good hiding place for few months. after that he need to make a desicion, face reality and Fight Cotto or retire as a coward, people have to understand that this man is very afraid, he nows he will face a very hard fighter. first he went to DWS to cover himself, now Oscar came to his rescue, and his fight with Oscar is a good place to hide for few months, we all know that until Mayweather fight Cotto he will not be classified as the best pound to pound, a name that do not apply really to Mayweather and floyd is believing that lie.

Wouldn't a fight later down the line would favor Cotto? Mayweather would be older and a step slower. It's obvious Cotto is good enough to fight Mayweather but what I don't get is talking about it everyday.

No the mitchell fight was a non pay per view showcase on HBO. If he was going to fight Magarito it would have to be a build up because Margarito would have not been a showcase, but a legit threat. Right now if Floyd fights Cotto its huge. If they would have fought before Cotto beat Judah and Shane it would have been big. Not Huge. Mega fights build temselves that way. Margarito has a following but events in his career didn't set for a superfight. Doesn't make him any more or less dangerous, but if you take a risky fight you better make sure its worth it.

People are making a big deal about them not fighting yet. It really doesn't matter. Even Cotto said he'll just fight someone else. I'm still confused as to why people think that Cotto is absolutley entitled to fight Floyd. There are other great fighters out there for Cotto to fight.
