we're not talking about Baldomir here, we're talking about Mitchell. Just so I can understand you, he didn't fight Margo and fought Mitchell because Mitchell was an easier title fight right? That is what you've said in the earlier posts and if you want to bring up Baldomir, you just said he was an "easier" fight also right?

I dont know if your misundestanding me....or even realize what your point is now...Floyd fought Mitchell as a gatekeeper to the WW division...that was Floyds first fight at WW was it not? so he wanted an easy fight just for the sake of fighting at 147 it had nothing to do with anything other than that...after mitchell he fought Judah after Judah he wanted Oscar but when that didnt happen he went after Baldomir instead of margarito

I think you think im trying to defend Floyds decisions for fighting people...Im just explaining what i think his mindset was...if it was up to me i would put Floyd against everyone (Mosley, Margarito, Clottey, Cotto, Williams, and Cintron) unfortunatley i am not his Promoter or manager...i just understand that sometimes fights dont happen because of bull**** reasons (money, prospect of fighting someone else, politics,etc) and dont immeadiatley attack the fighter that is preventing the fight from happening and assume hes a coward.

Cmon, there were 8,000,000 reasons to fight him at the time. He declined Arum's offer of 8mil, yet went and chased after Spinks. I doubt he would've made anywhere close to that figure.

Margarito Mayweather should have happend in 2006 i agree, why he didnt take the fight is because he wanted Oscar...Oscar at that time was still contemplating a fight in Nov or Dec but then decided to wait until the following year, after that Floyd decided to go with an easier fight in Baldomir, he would get the same money and the WBC belt out of it...i dont agree with all of his moves but thats why i think that fight never happened

People are making a big deal about them not fighting yet. It really doesn't matter. Even Cotto said he'll just fight someone else. I'm still confused as to why people think that Cotto is absolutley entitled to fight Floyd. There are other great fighters out there for Cotto to fight.
