height and size can be an advantage but its not gonna win you a fight by its self, have you seen dempsey? i think they should get rid of the cruiserweights and just increase the light heavyweight limit, guys like mormeck, bell, haye, enzo and banks could all compete in the heavyweight division.

      Current heavyweight Title holder height's
      Ruslan Chagaev 6′ 1″
      Samuel Peter 6′ 0½″
      Sultan Ibragimov 6′ 2″
      Wladimir Klitschko 6′ 6½″

and as far as im concerned,it is just way too big for a fighter to be fighting with other heavyweights!
it puts other smaller HW's at a huge disadvantage..
The thing is , the bigger you are, the less skill you can afford to have.valuev -being a classic example.
Size these days, really compensates for your lack of skill.
Not saying he Wlad is not skillful, but its pathetic to see a giant like him fighting much smaller fighters.
I dont give any fighter who is that big, credit for beating up on much smaller guys.
        It 's a damn circus.
        the guy is absolutely massive.
i give him absolutely no credit for beating other fighters..
wlad, vitali, lewis, michael grant, tony tucker, tyrell biggs, kevin mcbride, mitch green, these guys are way too big...mcbride im sure would have had trouble if he was the same size as Tyson.
I think there should be a height limit, of maybe 6'3, 6'4 max.
I dont see what's so skillful about a huge guy with a longer reach, looking down on somebody else and beating him up..
The height is not the problem, the problem is the added weight that comes with it without making you obese. Maybe there should be a super-heavyweight division. The shows are awfully bad and even though there an unification in the horizon it won't keep me up late because i am tired of left jab KOs.

How many boxers do you think this new division would have? 40-50 at most. There simply arent enough of these guys to make a division worth while. And as pointed out several times already, size doesnt win fights.

I guess we need a height restriction in Basketball too.. It's Totally unfair for those 6'7'' midgets to have to play against those 7'3'' Giants

I guess The defensive Linemen in Football.. shouldn't exceed 230 Lbs either considering the average QB is 210lbs.. I mean in the spirit of fairness and all..

So you don't think Lennox Lewis should have been allowed to box then?

BTW, Ibragimov is a very small heavyweight, he's listed at 6'2", but is closer to 6'.
