Hatton has made it clear on several occasions that his plans do not involve Junior Witter. He wants a relatively easy tune up match first which is understandable considering he is coming off his first loss. His next goal is to fight at MSG and the fight that makes sens there is against Malignaggi. Unfortunately, becoming the number 2 ranked light welterweight in The Ring magazine doesn't earn you anything.

I never heard anybody say Mayweather moved up to 147 to duck Hatton but it is irrelevant. Hatton was in Witter's shoes at one point but he worked hard got some big wins on his resume and now he is in a position to choose what he does in his career. It is Junior Witter's responsibility to follow suit and put Hatton under pressure to fight him but I'm afraid that beating Vivian Harris and talking **** just isn't enough to do so.

Hatton IMO sould of fought witter ages ago, both being stable mates with Warren.

The "Calling Me" excuse is the lamest excuse i've ever heard in my life, Yes witter is an arrogant twat therefore hatton should have great pleasure in shutting him up... BUT witter called him so he shouldn't fight him LMFAO!
