r u gna say that because it was a close fight that pavlik was a hype? i think that takes away from jermain taylor, which is bull****.. taylor is a top fighter and so is pavlik.. give them both credit, i see pavlik holding the middleweight crown for a while, n i'm not even a fan of pavlik

To be honest, Dawson has ever advantage over Pavlik. Taylor showed us that if you could keep the fight in the center of the ring, then you will have him, and we all know that Dawson is a masterful pure boxer. He would use the ring, spin off of the ropes, box, counter, and beat Pavlik by unanimous decision. Just look at the Dawson/Ademek fight and you will see what i mean.

Dawson would out box him badly. Taylor actually beat him in my opinion and he simply used the ring, stayed off of the ropes, and cliched when he was trapped. Dawson has every advantage over Taylor and alot better tecnically sound, he would dress Pavlik up and stop him late. Pavlik would get an Ademek like beating.

Pavlik and Dawson are the really the same size, just look at thier frames. Dawson says that he is willing to fight at 168-175 and Pavlik will definatley be up there in a few years. He will not be able to make that weight for long so i can definatley see this fight happening in the future.
