The guy is a FIGHTER. An excellent FIGHTER. He FIGHTS in all of his fights.

Stop saying he could easily outbox so-and-so. Could he outfight so-and-so? Absolutely. Calzaghe has extremely fast hands and throws tons of combinations.

But he's not a particularly good boxer. In fact, i've rarely seen him box an opponent at the elite level. he picks his spots to fight but he rarely actually steps back and works off a jab.

He hardly ever even uses a jab.

I've always said this and I'll say it again:

Calzaghe looks like a ***** fighting his way out of spiderwebs when he tries to go in there and box. **** just look soo sloppy but it's effective. I think sometimes he feels like a Sugar Ray Leonard or a Roy Jones in there, trying to get pretty and shoe shine with his punches BUT the boy doesn't have their rhytm and winds up looking like a ******.

However he is still undefeated. That might change in his next fight when Hopkins makes the sloppy Joe style look even uglier.

no he takes them out of their game plan by outworking them with the thousand plus punches he throws a fight.

And he's got spoiler tactics and the clinches on the inside and he can break your will with the pressure he applyes.

Man, what are you talking about? Joe boxes. Sometimes he throws punches at odd angles and does this in a less than traditional sense but, based on his style, you can't call him a fighter, brawler or anything other than a boxer...

Joe is a great boxer. The art of boxing is hitting and not getting hit, and Joe manages to hit and not get hit. And on the rare occasion he gets his with a good shot he goes berserk, but those are rare occasions.

as i said, someones jealous of calzaghe because he most likely is a bad style for someone named pavlik because pavlik wouldn't be able to land his punches that he can land on taylor. Taylor fought a ****** fight and allowed himself to get hit, calzaghe doesn't fight like that. And if taylor fights smart this time he won't allow pavlik to hit him. And taylor will counter back with hard shots of his own.
