I got a little tired of Joe's talk a while back and I'm definitely tired of Bernard's talk. This is the first fight where I wish both guys could get their mouths shut, although Bernard irritates me a lot more than Joe now. I suppose it is fair strategy to get into their heads, but I really like people to just talk with their fists.

and if I eat crow the day after the fight then so be it...but until then, I'ma look forward to collect on his odds..
Your right man. Thats what i keep trying to say he knows his ability and he wouldnt take a fight to lose it. To say that he is scared is ridiculous, B-hop has fought much meaner and mennacing opponents then Calzaghe.

That was a poor attempt at pre-fight hype talk from Hopkins.
        Im dissapointed.

You are forgetting that Hopkins best wins are against much smaller men who were out gunned.

Calzaghe is a natural SMW and some may say a natural LHW with speed, power and skill. I think it is Hopkins toughest test and at a atime when he is most vunerable.

He has some mitgation in terms of location, disruption to Calzaghe's normal routine etc, but Calzaghe's best performances have historically come against his best opponents.

Hopkins has bitten off more than he can chew. I hope to see a dominant performance from Calzaghe.

I really like his confidence though. This is Boxing, Bernard needs to go in there like he's gonna kill Calslappy. He has to, he has too many things going against him.
I hate british fans. Booing our national anthem. They don't know **** about boxing. They always just pick there fighters as the best and twist everything to lean for that fighter. Ive heard the dumbest comments come out of there mouths "If mayweather had balls he would fight Klitschko,"or"Calzaghe has power". LOL. Idiots. I never had a problem with them until the Mayweather v. Hatton fight. Than they started running there mouths, and there still crying even though Hatton got knocked the **** out.

Hopkins' game is talk. On the biggest stage Calzaghe's ever fought on, stepping into a new country against the most difficult challenge he's ever face while he disrespects you is a daunting assignment.

I can only imagine how it is affecting Calzaghe. Remember, Hatton was totally taken out of his game by Mayweather tearing him to shreads.

Bernard is just stating the facts. The British continue to believe they are producing great fighters even though they all get a beating when they step up to real competition. Guys like Hatton and Calzaghe start believing the hype and bull**** their fans spew and think they can actually fight world class opponents and win. I can't wait until a 45-year-old Hopkins beats Joke Calzaghe and puts him in his place.
