          Yeah... pretty easy answer really.

          Can be offense, defense, a punch that does damage, a punch merely used to keep the opponent at bay, a punch to measure distance, a punch to set harder punches up, and can be used to wear an opponent down when used to the body.

          Not to mention that it is the shortest, straightes punch, and by far the easiest punch to land.

            Without a doubt, the jab. Even Mayweather knows this, he said earlier in his career that the jab is the most important punch. It can be an offensive and a defensive weapon.

                  Mayweathers hook is prolly the best. it used to be other punches but he uses this one the most now. his right is sick 2.

                    It is signficant, because he is one fighter who doesn't particularly use the jab very often because he is so fast.

                    If he was jab-dependent, it would have been pretty irrelevant IMO.
