Tarver is not a bum Mick. People can say RJJ was past his prime all they want, the first fight he just came back from winning the HW title. The second fight he swore he was in the best shape ever and got destroyed in 2 rounds. And the 3rd fight he was dominated and almost knocked out despite the fact Tarver wasn't on. His story is summed up at the Olympics. Here's a guy with more talent and technical skill then almost everybody else, but he ate his way out of contention. His problem was and always will be his focus. When he's pissed off and on, then he's almost unbeatable. Great boxer with great power. He is definitely HOF material. He dominated Glen Johnson in the rematch and owns RJJ. We'll see how he does vs Woods and then the winner of Dawson and Johnson. Getting dominated by Hopkins is nothing to be ashamed of. It's funny people claim RJJ was past his prime or on his way down from weight (which anybody with common sense knows he wasn't for the 2nd and 3rd fight) yet hold a loss vs Hopkins after dropping all the weight from the Rocky movie against him. Tarver is a great fighter, when he wants to be. Now stfu and stop making threads buzzard.
BTW, "average" fighters don't knock out Roy Jones in two rounds and shock the world. They don't do that after asking him if he has any excuses tonight, and they don't dominate him in the 3rd fight. They also don't dominate Glen Johnson after he hit his stride.
