I guess you didn't take into account the competitive round after round match up that Tarver had with Roy in their first fight.


You also musta forgot that he defeated him by a clear decison in the third fight. All that counts for and counts against a great fighter when part of a triology.

He could have won the 3rd fight, Tarver was pure garbage in that third fight but he already took Roy's heart in the previous 2 so that makes it even worse. Tarver wasn't even at his best in their final fight.

Roy Jones lost some points on his greatness losing those fights.

Firstly the word "bum" was a joke, a play on the Rocky movies. It's not my fault if you're not sharp enough to get it, others got it. And secondly I merely asked was he a bum, differentiate.

I personally think he's overrated.
