First I was going to say Cotto because I thought Witter was white, but I found out today he isnt so now HATTON. He is a damn crumb ducking Witter. No offense to you my friend but this post doesn't make any sense because:

1. Witter has been calling out Hatton for 8 Years now, and Olusebum recently called him out like you said.

2. Witter has a WBC Belt and has beaten contenders such as Vivian Harris, Corley, N'dou, while Ajose's career defining fight was against Bradley Pryce

There are more reasons than that and you know it as well. I still cant over the "Yes he fights Mayweather and Tszyu yet he is scared of Witter" thing he fought Kostya and Mayweather because he knew losing to them would not matter as they are considered great fighters, Losing to Witter would because it would make Witter well known and rich, and Hatton doesn't want Witter to be rich for some reason, it is ironic that its about "money" now considering floyd made him rich. Witter has went on the record to say Winner takes all, or even he will fight for free win or lose.

Olusegun is no bum he should be given a shot at one of the top light welters but they wont fight him so its hard for him to move up the ranks, I think he should fight rees but unless Olusegun becomes a mandatory challenger he wont fight him.

People are scared to fight Olusegun and he presents the same risk to Witter that Witter presents to Hatton - high risk, low reward. Witter's career defining fights have arrived in the last 18 months and are still a step down from what Hatton has been fighting during that time.

Mayweather didn't make Hatton rich. Hatton got himself rich and was already more than financially secure after his fights with Tszyu, Collazo, Castillo et al.

The winner take all thing is a nice line but realistically it can never happen and Witter knows this. I'll give him credit it though because it is a smart thing to say as it makes Hatton look a bit ******. It's just a shame that Witter didn't have his thinking cap on years ago when a fight with Hatton could have been made.

The money excuse is really lame and ironic because if Mayweather didn't face him hatton would have been fighting the Malignaggi's, Torres and Holt's for how much money? Some of those fights presented a route to a world title shot with some of them being world title shots.

Saying that Hatton fought bums is all well and good but who has Witter been fighting all these years? Zab Judah excepted, Witter has been fighting an even lower standard of opposition than Hatton.

Were those fights more "appealing to the public" than fighting Witter? I swear to god man Hattons fans are using ridicilous excuses, i have some other friends on other boxing forums including on Ricky Hatton's own website and even they are getting sick and tired of the excuses. BTW for the record I should let you know I am still a fan of the Hitman's but its just the excuses I cant defend him for that and need to tell it how it is, more people should be like that on this forum so it will level out the "nuthuggers" and "haters"

I don't know if they are more appealing or not. To be honest, during that time people watched Ricky Hatton fights because they liked Ricky Hatton, Witter was relatively unknown in comparison and it is doubtful whether a fight with Witter would have attracted more viewers.

Were those fights appealing to the public? Hatton fans are using really lame excuses now, Some of my friends are Hatton fans but even they have got tired from the excuses

I was a big Hatton fan who went to 4 of his fight, when it became apparent that they were ducking Witter i just became irritated with him, He use Warren as a cover but i just wasnt buying his lame excuse anymore at that point.
