I think these 5 fighters are rated above Lewis.
Jack Johnson had a ****ty record compared to Lewis. George Foreman was only champion for a very short time too, but I think its alright for people to argue about him being better, cause those Frazier, Norton and Lyle fights were huge.

if youre going to throw in historical significance into the equation, a lot of fighters beat Lewis. but just record wise? Lennox kicks the **** outta Johnson

Lewis has only 41 wins and 32 KOs (as compared to Foreman's 76 wins and 68 KOs, for example). Wlad already has 49 wins and 44 KOs. Lewis fought some good opponents, but fought his share of clubfighters too.
how many wins you have means nothing to me. Foremans notable wins are his huge win over Frazier to his first retirement. after that, its basically just Moorer, and maybe you could mention the way-past-their-best wins over Qawi and Cooney.

Im not sure peeps because of his style of fighting sometimes he wasnt so gd to watch so he can be underrated by alot of people because he was boring sometimes.
He also can be overrated because he beat alot of fighters past there prime and beating holyfield isnt much of a accomplishment anyways.

This is yet another "I dont know **** about H.O.F." thread.

Just look at the hall of fame list. Its not even a queation whether Lewis deserves to there, and im not his biggest fan.

The boxing HOF does not have very high standards. Come on, guys like Johannson, Braddock, and McGuigan are in there.

Of course Lewis will make it.

i'm still waiting for guys like curry, starling, mitchell, and dejesus to get in.

i bet a bunch of less deserving guys will get in there before those guys.
