BTW, Duffgun, Lewis was great to watch.
I have as far as i know every single lewis fight on DVD and while some of his fights are very good there are none that i would call great.

Im not very sure about this but he was the last best heavywieght tbh but i duno if he deserved to be a hofer.
Yes but i still feel Lewis's record is slightly overrated, thats not his fault but still his two best were against shot fighters aka Tyson aka Holyfield, and some people think Holyfield should of won the rematch with Lewis as well, and plus lets not forget the Mercer fight a lot of people thought Mercer won that as well, and Mercer was never that good he struggled with journeyman fighters like Marion Wilson and Jesse Ferguson, i never really took to Lewis to be honest he had a few exciting performances here and there but most of his fights were boring especially the Tua and Tucker fights they sent me too sleep, if you actually study Lewis's record your find most of his wins were against past there prime fighters. The other thing with Lewis is that he lost concentration easy and thats why he was sparked out twice and thats why he was caught badly against the likes of Shannon Briggs, overall Lewis was a great Heavyweight a little too cautious for my liking but he got the wins and thats all that counts.

He fought Holyfield twice when he was in his prime and beat him comfortably both times, although we all know what happened the first time.

I agree he hasn't got boxing legends on his list but he dominated a fairly competitive HW era, a lot more competitive than the early Tyson era and the guys he fought.
Sorry but i totally disagree Holyfield looked like an old man in the 1st fight with Lewis, and in the rematch he done much better and i thought he deserved the decision, Holyfield's prime at Heavyweight was when he fought Bowe in the 2nd fight, Holyfield even when he beat Tyson he wasn't in his prime he mostly clinched and he was nowhere as fast as he was in the early 90s. Theres no way Holyfield was in his prime at 36, especially with all the ring wars he had.

Top 5 at Heavyweight ?? i don't think so bro.

                  Muhammad Ali
                  Joe Louis
                  Larry Holmes
                  Jack Johnson
                  George Foreman

I think these 5 fighters are rated above Lewis.

Lewis is top 5 all time for me.
Actually Lewis vs Bowe was scheduled to happen if Lewis beat McCall, but we all know what happened there and Lewis took awhile to get back at the top of Heavyweight rankings. And Bowe just got worse and worse and fatter and fatter.

Holyfield was no where near winning either fight. When was Lewis hurt against Briggs? He took a couple of decent shots but nothing spectacular, and then knocked Briggs out.

Lewis' record encompasses virtually the entire heavyweight division of the 90s aside from Bowe who avoided him like the plague.

You can pull anyones record to pieces.
