Beat best around him in the Division, at times had a superb boxing style great to watch, revenged his losses. I mean I dont quite know the criteria for your 'homer's' but for me he up there with maybe the top 10 HW's. And there have been a lot of HW's!

He was the best in the late90's early 00's but never faced the best when they were in there primes (not his fault). To be honest though i wouldnt say he was always that great to watch.

Who Tyson? Give me a break. Tyson was lucky he was in prison during the rise of Lewis, it gives his fans a 'what if he fought him in 89-91' dream I suppose.

He fought Holyfield twice when he was in his prime and beat him comfortably both times, although we all know what happened the first time.

I agree he hasn't got boxing legends on his list but he dominated a fairly competitive HW era, a lot more competitive than the early Tyson era and the guys he fought.

He knocked Bowe out in 84 at the olympics. Bowe didn`t want any of Lewis after that. He gave up his title so he didn`t have to fight him in the pros.

Lewis is top 5 all time for me.

It was Seoul '88 that he won gold. Yeah he'll be in the Hall of Fame, undisputed champion, gave Tyson and Holyfield a spanking not to mention three times HW champion.

BTW, Duffgun, Lewis was great to watch.
