Steward Wants Andy Lee To Fight Winky Wright

For me personally, I would really like to see Lee fight Wright. I have not seen more than a few Lee fights but it seems like he would match up well with Winky. B.A.D. anyone?

I cannot BELIEVE Steward honestly thinks that Lee can hang in there with this caliber of an opponent, with the HORRIFIC amount of experience Lee has.

Lee has not been match with A SINGLE LIVE OPPONENT yet. nothing under a 6-1 underdog!!!! And its not even like there is a good variety in his opponents styles, its mainly the same thing and even when its different he gets rid of them so quickly that he doesnt get the experience from it

Its laughable to think for a second that Lee could win a single round in a fight with Wright, let alone win it!!!

he's definetly a real threat. He hung in there with Hopkins and some even thought Wright won the fight!

Andy Lee is nothing compared to Hopkins, and he's nothing compared to Wright either.

I think its 11-1 on all scorecards in favor of Wright.

Maybe someday Lee will be good enough to fight an unorthadox guy like Wright, but he certainly isnt now and he wont be anytime soon if he keeps fighting the kind of guys that he's fighting

i agree chairman, if anyone needs evidence of this they can go watch the sam soliman fight....

bottom line is that andy lee wont get knocked out, wont allow himself to be jabbed to death like trinidad, will be the much bigger man, and obviously steward has seen a much greener andy lee go plenty of rounds with the jermaine taylor who fought to a draw with a younger winky.

worst case scenario is lee loses 8 rounds to 4, but certainly doesent embarrass himself or get completely outclassed as some people are saying

I understand you're a fan of Wright and you have the right to predict him to win. But you should also understand he would not be a heavy favorite in this.

And he would be a heavy underdog against Kessler, whom it appear he's ducked. He would be a marginal favorite over Abraham.

I loved Winky against Mosley, but that was a long time ago and against a lightweight.

I don't understand why people would be against an experienced fighter going against a prospect. Wouldn't a Wright fan rather see him against Lee than against Trinidad again?

Its also worth mentioning that even if the fight were announced and date set in the next 3 months that wright would be going on almost a year since he stepped in the ring last meanwhile Lee having fought 8 or 9 times in the same period
