Yeah Paul is a superfreak is probably Floyd's toughest test. People may not realie it but these could be some of the best WW's ever fighting right now or at least HOF level Welter's. Time will tell.

To me inexperience and being in soft is a factor no matter how long your arms are.

That's what I thought before the Margarito fight. IMO Quintana will be his second toughest opponent so we get a chance to double check.

if washed up de la hoya can pull a scorecard out throwing nothing but jabs and insignifacnt flurries on the ropes than williams could certainly do the same.

its all just speculation though, mayweather will never come close to getting in the ring with williams

Williams would be Floyd's toughest test because of his size, reach, punch rate. Then you combine that with the fact that he is a Southpaw which has always given Floyd "some" problems then that obviously spells trouble. Still, for me its still a size issue, meaning that if Floyd was a natural WW then I dont think Williams would give him many problems.

I would actually like to see Williams fight Zab. I think Quintana could do some things but probally not much. Zab however is great against southpaws because he is a Southpaws. Southpaws do great against orthodox fighters because there not use to seeing leftys but like an orthodox fighter, southpaws also struggle against southpaws because they arent use to seeing them either. Spinks is a great slick southpaw but none of his stuff worked against Zab like it did against other fighters. I wouldnt be shocked at all to see Williams beat Margarito, Cotto, & Cintron but get KO by Zab. Thats how things work.

If Floyd fought Williams I think he would fight him the way he did Zab. He tried his normal style early against Zab but it didnt work. Then after the first few rounds he switched to the Winky style with the high guard and walked him down. I think he would fight Williams that same exact way. Use the Winky style and come in behind the gloves. Let Williams fire and then counter back. Remember that Williams is good but people do overrate him. Mathysee did give him some trouble before getting KO. He landed on Williams a ton. Williams dominated Margarito early but almost got dominated equally as much in the 2nd half of the fight. If Margarito & Mathysee can land clean on him then so can Floyd. Even Mitchell landed some good shots on him before the end

Why you got old ass fighters as your screen name? I thought you were a Hatton fan. Anyways, Hearns wouldnt knock him out. He may beat him but its only because he's naturally much bigger. Floyd however was better at 130 then Hearns was at WW and he also moved up way better then Hearns so I would say that Floyd is the better fighter

good point, but wtf? i mean, is that all floyd gonna do? he can jab william's stomach 100 times, but if he aint doing nothing else then paul gets the W. mayweather aint KOing williams either. the fight looks like a good clash of styles match up, but I can see floyd trying this damndest to make it a really boring fight in hopes of pulling out a decision.
