    Williams vs Mayweather

The more I think about it I think Paul Williams may be the one to have an easy shot at beating Floyd on points.

Even though he is inexperienced and has faced soft competition, Floyd has never dealt with reach and height like Williams.

Williams would need to fight tall jab and do his usual 100 punches per round and I think hed win on points pretty easily. Floyd would actually have to work his way in to land , hes fast but dont think he can do it enough to win on points, plus hed be spending alot of time on defense.

Note: Please keep the Floyd hate and/or Love to a minimum. If possible.

I think that Williams has the best chance to beat Mayweather. As mentioned his height and reach will make an impact, he needs to straighten him jab more, he throws it like a flicking jab right now. If he lets his combinations fly behind his stiff jab I think he has a chance of decisioning Mayweather.

Floyd is too smart a fighter to lose to Williams. He won't be bothered by the reach or by Williams's slaps

Williams doesn't have the power, accuracy or ring smarts to beat Floyd..

I agree this would be a good fight and might give floyd problems, but I think floyd would jab him to the stomach all night.

You'd have to be somewhat naive not to think that William's size and workrate would give anyone problems at 147. Once his chin and stamina passed the test against Margarito you had to know he was a major player as a welterweight.
