Hopkins: What!? You really think i lost those two fights?
    Calzaghe: Well....maybe it was 50/50
Hopkins: Look, he;s changing his mind now, 50/50, maybe he should be the promoter

Calzaghe: How are you gonna beat me?
Hopkins: What the point in me telling you how im gonna beat you, when i can show you how im gonna beat you
    Calzaghe...............

Etc etc. Calzaghe was deffo intimidated.
You're delusional. Why did Hop walk away first? Having lost to Jermain Taylor twice is indeed an embarrassment. Hop's career is nowhere near as good as Joe's and Hop understands that

The Biggest names calzaghe fought in 10 years of boxing are Mikkel Kessler, Jeff Lacy and Chris Eubank

Whereas hopkins fought, Glenn Johnson, Roy Jones Jr, Oscar De La Hoya, Antonio Tarver, Winky Wright and Jermaine Taylor.

Thus why Hopkins has had a better career, he fought more bigger name fighters (forget about the weight difference, im talking names) and took part in bigger fights. Thus why he is more well known and makes more money.

Have you seen the HBO stats on views for Calzaghe -Kessler? apparently hardly anyone watched it, even though it was free to air, calzaghe is not a PPV draw which is why Hopkins made more money.

So no, Calzaghe's carrer is not far better than Hopkins'.

You're talking "names" and PPV draws," not boxing. Would Calzaghe have lost twice to Taylor? C'mon you wouldn't even argue that

Kessler is likely a tougher fight than Jermain Taylor

You know what, id pick Taylor over Kessler (before i did say Kessler would win, but now id go with Taylor), Kessler is decent in straight lines, but predictable, not as talented as taylor, who nearly had Kelly Pavlik finished in 2 rounds.

Back to hopkins calzaghe, i look at it like this, Calzaghe should win the fight, because no one can see b hop surviving at 43 against a high output fighter, thing is...

These days Hopkins only picks the fights that he thinks he will win, because he is trying to out do Roy Jones in the legacy stakes without having to fight him again. He will try and time calzaghe coming inside with jab and the overhand right, and he will be dirty inside also, plus look out for some dodgy goldenboy judging, Hopkins has a better chance than what people on here give him. Look at the problems Bika caused calzaghe, that might be the key.

Do the ppl in england/uk area pay for the calzaghe/kessler fight? Because Calzaghe has been a draw over there a bit, I would of assume they would have had their own kind of ppv for him over there that he made money off of.

if calzaghe thinks a 43 year old who has grew up in the mean streets of philly ,survived in a tough prison is scared of him then he will get a reality check come fight night

Actually Calzaghe showed more fear in the video I've seen from them, I think Cal needs to watch the video.
