Thus why Hopkins has had a better career, he fought more bigger name fighters (forget about the weight difference, im talking names) and took part in bigger fights. Thus why he is more well known and makes more money.

Have you seen the HBO stats on views for Calzaghe -Kessler? apparently hardly anyone watched it, even though it was free to air, calzaghe is not a PPV draw which is why Hopkins made more money.

So no, Calzaghe's carrer is not far better than Hopkins'.
You place too much importance on TV sales and dont seem to realise that being in a big fight is only fully impressive if you win it.

They got something like 300,000 subscribers on Setanta from what Setanta have claimed. In my case that involved subscribing for £10 a month and buying a £60 digital box for it.

I'm not going to talk about intimidation or any of that bull**** in the run up to this fight. These are two experienced fighters, they've both been around the block. Calzaghe will be afraid of losing his unbeaten record. Hopkins will be afraid of suffering a defeat that may end his career. Neither of them are particularly 'intimidating' people, neither of them have a particularly intimidating fighting style. Its unlikely that this fight will end in a knock out as neither of them really demonstrate knock out power anymore.

Hopkins did years in prison for armed robbery and was a streetfighter also, you sure he's not intimidating?

Calzaghe will be afraid of losing his unbeaten record against a 44 year old past his best fighter? Mikkel Kessler would beat Bernard Hopkins if they fought now

1). It doesnt matter man. Its just viewings. It doesnt effect your boxing ability in the slightest way possible. It makes no difference to whether or not he'll beat Hopkins. Plus, he's from the UK. You cant really hold his country of origin against him. If he'd been born in America like Hopkins was, he would arguably be a much greater draw.

2). It better ****ing not be. The one I got at Argos was about £60. I've already got 3 ****ing digi boxes, but you've got to get a special one with a ****** card slot.

Hopkins was in prison once upon a time. He used to street-fight once upon a time. He isnt going to find Calzaghe in a back alley and shoot him or fight him. That'll not really be a concern to Calzaghe, will it? He's not hugely intimidating in the ring. He's technical, not massively powerful and Calzaghe is confident enough with his abilities to not be intimidated by anyone's boxing prowess.

Ive never said PPV sales decide who wins a fight, that was a separate conversation about who has had the better career.

Either way im gonna post up the video and people can decide, personally i think Calzaghe was definately intimidated by hopkins, which is why he was quick to change his mind when hopkins asked him about the two losses to taylor. But thats my opinion, calzaghe should win the fight, but hopkins has a better chance then what people are giving him.

I dunno mate. Calzaghe is fairly honest. If he thought that Hopkins wasnt convincingly beaten, he has no reason to not say so. Fact is that Hopkins does have losses on his record and it is worth pointing out. Calzaghe isnt a hugely confrontational person when it comes to stare-downs and press conferences. I've never seen him hate the fighter he's fighting. Its a sport, its a job and he happens to know that he's exceptionally good at it. He doesnt need to hate them, or square up to them at press conferences to get motivated for the fight.

so then why the **** did you even ****ing ask him?

if he named all black folks and latins youd call him racist, he threw in some white folks and then you accuse him of appeasing, either way you were lookin to bull****.

Hopkins will win after frustrating Joe. Hopkins will dictate the fight trust me.Joe's Jab will be neutralized by the 2nd round by grabbing, holding, and probably (headbutting) then the chess match begins. Calzaghe's fans will be upset with him for not fighting his normal style.
