I was leaning towards Calzaghe, but then he says something that is so unfounded and ridiculous. Calzaghe is showing weakness when he says these meritless comments. He needs to shut up and train for the roughest fight of his career.

If this fight was being fought five years ago there would be no doubt as to who the winner would be. The only doubts over B-Hop are his age and how slow he fights these days. If he can slow Joe down and get the fight to go the way he wants there is no reason he can't win this fight.
Where do i sign? Right on brother. Also Hopkins foot movement is gone completely. Not only he will be too slow and inactive to hit Calzaghe but he will be a sitting duck all night. Calzaghe will absolutely look great in this fight. And that is a sad note.

No way is Hopkins scared of Calzaghe.

I disagree with the guy who said Joe was scared of Hopkins, their grown men. Joe said about 10 times that if Hopkins fights him he'll lose. Nard didn't really pick him up on it. I think Joe was starstruck, Nard was actually talking to him.....lol.

He will lose. JC is just bull****ting though, he is not intimating at all, everyone from Mikkel Kessler to Peter 'lol' Manfredo thought they were going to smash Joe's face in.

Five years ago Calzaghe would still have won.

Guys you are taking the trash talk too seriously, at the end of the day, Popkins will be the loser, I'll be the winner when that happens, I'll throw a party as well, it's going to be a great night.

I'm fairly certain that during Hopkins' 7 years at Graterford Prison, where he owned the boxing program, he ran into tougher guys than country boy Calzaghe.

                    LOL.

When it comes to Bernard Hopkins, the trash talk is very important because he takes personal beefs very seriously and relies largely on intimidating his opponents. How his mental game goes, so goes Bernard Hopkins.

As I stated last January on Cleveland Sports Talk Radio, I will never pick against Hopkins again because he makes me look bad when I do so.

That's true, trash talk is a big part of Popkins' game plan, but we have to be realistic here, I'm willing to bet my house Joe wins this one.
Just think about it, I find it extremely hard to image Popkins winning.
I just don't see a way. You'll see what I mean on fight night, it'll be a wake up call for you and some others.
