Hopkins did years in prison for armed robbery and was a streetfighter also, you sure he's not intimidating?
What the **** do you expect? Both of the fighters were based in Europe, they didn't even have a countdown to Calzaghe-Kessler and very little adverts were shown for it. If Calzaghe was fighting Jones it would be PPV, It's only Hopkins fault this isn't. It doesn't matter anyway as Joe gets his money from british fans subscribing to watch him fight for $20 per month.

You can't survive a place like Gratersford if fear is located anywhere in your eyes! Thats the first place jail dudes look at is in your eyes! So guys who've been incarcerated know how to hide the fear that appears from the eyes! Bernard is a ex-con who did time for REAL crimes! While incarcerated he earned the respect of some the baddest dudes that ever lived! Why? He showed no FEAR! I guess Mr. Calzaghe is just blowin smoke like he on a Amsterdam vacation or something! Hate him or Love him, Bernard Hopkins is a STAND UP DUDE!

      NOW BACK TO BOXING!!
Bernard will land the harder more accurate shots, Calzaghe throwin a thousand punches wont matter cause he's not accurate at all! Men lie, Women lie, numbers don't! His connect pct. in his last fight was in the 20's! And Bernard is a FAR better than defensive fighter than Kessler!

Bernard's body punching, in-fighting and rough house tactics will wear Calzaghe down and we will all bear witness to Bernard Hopkins systematically taking Joe Calzaghe apart! Calzaghe will get dropped in this fight, he'll get back up but he will definitely get dropped!
Bernard shocks the odd makers and wins a UD!
According to the statistics there is vary little difference in the accuracy Hopkins about 30% of his shots to Joe's 28%. 30% of **** all is **** all, 28% of 1000 is 280. Still, I don't believe Hopkins is afraid of anyone, but I do think he'll loose this one.

Exactly. Hopkins fears NOBODY. Calslappy should be fearing his execution at the hands of a master technician.

Is it me or is Joe Calzaghe the most boring boxing personality around?

How many times is he gonna keep rehashing the Las Vegas Face-off. Yawn

Are you calling calzaghe the draw in this fight?

Calzaghe vs Kessler was a prime time free fight, and hardly anybody watched it.

Infact according to this thread, it was the lowest HBO championship boxing card ever.

it doesn't matter what the judges did, hop beat taylor.

Hop's career is nowhere near as good as Joe's? wtf, wtf, and wtf. 5 of hopkins best opponents could whoop calzaghe. don't be fooled by the records. calzaghe might be a HOF(mostly due to his well MANAGED career) but hopkins is a legend.

Calzaghe has fought nobody's in the UK. He beat an overrated Jeff Lacy and Kessler...thats it. Hopkins has fought champions, legends and executed them to perfection. Hopkins is the smartest fighter in the game.

                      ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Calzaghe's fought Robin Reid, Chris Eubank, Jeff Lacy, Mikkel Kessler, Bryon Mitchell (Amazing Fight by the way), and Charles Brewer*. Those are very good wins. Great wins are Kessler, Eubank, and Reid especially.

I'm a huge Hopkins fan, but I don't discredit Calzaghe. However, saying that the only reason why this fight isn't PPV is because of Hopkins is ******. And even if that is the case, I'm not complaining. Less money spent on PPV's for me.

*By the time Calzaghe fought him he was kinda washed up. Got knocked out in 3 by Echols (Yes I'm aware this could have been an early stoppage. I haven't seen it), still a good win though.

I maybe should have put Richie Woodhall on that list, but he got knocked out by Keith Holmes and lost to Marcus Bayer. He was old when he fought Calzaghe too so...
