I omitted Rafael Marquez because I honestly see him as a tried and true "switch hitter". No doubt that Nacho Beristein has traine dhim to become a more fundamental fighter but there's also no doubt he's a scrapper and he scraps a lot. Therefore he's not a total boxer to me, not in the sense of a Floyd Mayweather or Cory Spinks style.

B-HOP? Why not put Ricky Hatton in there. I wouldn't say hopkins has much technical skills at all.

Hore****. Hopkins is one of the most pure boxers out there. So he headbutts occasionally, he's a sly, cagey counterpuncher with pinpoint precision on his right hand. Just because he had an ugly fight with Wright, people all of a sudden forget the boxing clinics he put on Tarver and Tito.

Hopkins will surprise you all this April, mark my words.

I think Mosley should be considered a contender even now. He didn't exactly get blown away by Miguel Cotto, and in many rounds he clearly boxed Cotto's ears off. Shane will fit into any number of high profile events this year, and I can see him continue with his fighting career for a while.

Yeah, but in NO way is Shane Mosely a pure boxer. Show me some fancy footwork and a jab from that man.. I doubt you'll find much footage. Great fighter with great speed... maybe that's wy he's misinterpreted as a pure boxer.

I think I have misunderstood this thread. I thought it was based on the boxers body becuase I was gonna put lacy in there. Obviously not.

He better beat Calslappy itll get me major points. But, I wouldn't consider him a boxer to the degree of cory spinks etc. Because he tends to hold a lot. But he is amd accurate with his overhand right.
