Ask yourself this question. If Hatton had beaten Floyd would he than be the WBC WW title holder? People these days.

As for your comparison to Bhop defending against Oscar....Oscar's physique was more suited for 154, than Hattons is for 147. Its obvious that Hatton is NOT a better fighter at 147, than he is at 140. Why do u think he went back down. Oscar on the other hand has never fought again under 154. Answer this. Floyd has publically stated that he has no interest in fighting any WW's. Should he still be able to hold on to the titles, even though he has no intentions of facing another WW?
Revisionist in the making. Oscar is NOT better at 160 than he is at 154. The title defense is STILL legitimate though because if Oscar won, he would have been the champion. Floyd JUST defended HIS WW title 6 weeks ago so NO he should not be stripped. Look at you grasping at straws again, some people never let things go.

Look at you grasping at straws. Hatton was higher on the consensus p4p list than anyone at WW and has won a title at the weight. He WON the fight, although he did not do it in impressive fashion he did WIN the fight to get his belt. Hatton was one of the fighters that people picked to beat Floyd and once Floyd trashes him he isn't a viable opponent anymore? Please cease the B.S. you look foolish with every post.

What it is.... WBC knows floyd is there meal ticket.. oscar tooo.. thats why they let them do it...

And another things.... Oscar is THE most accomplished active fighter in the sport RIGHT now... aside from maybe 2 others....

Beating oscar, TWICE, even at 34... is a bigger addition to your resume then beating cotto RIGHT NOW...

If cotto is really what we think he is.. he will continue to win.. continue to beat other top competition.. and then cotto will bring more money, and more acccomplishments, when he finally does meet floyd in the ring.

He wasn't ranked in both divisions. When Ricky signed to fight Floyd he officially became a WW and than the WBC, realizing he was probably the best ranked fighter, ranked him above Berto as the number 1 contender.
