Winky Wright Demands a Big Fight, Big Name

The boxing world is wondering where Winky Wright has been. The former two-time junior middleweight champion is sitting back and waiting for a big money fight to come his way. Speaking with Eric Raskin of ESPN, Wright said he's been offered plenty of fights, including one with Mikkel Kessler and another with middleweight champion Arthur Abraham, but refuses to accept anything less than a major, big money fight. I think both Kessler and Abraham would beat Winky at this stage of his career. Thats why hes not fighting them.

If hes got a cab licence. He could fight Mundine.

Wright needs to realize he is coming off a loss and take a reputible fight like the Kessler or Abraham fight in order to GET a big fight.
For someone who has been in the game for a long time he sure has no idea how it works.

Still undecided about Winky-Kessler. Winky is known for having excellent fights against technical boxers, because straight punches hit his gloves, they can't go around the gloves.

And don't give me that Jermain Taylor got through the guard bull****, because I didn't see that happen NEARLY as much as Lampley said/nutted.

The only iffy part of it is that Winky is getting on in years, and he really might not have it anymore. That is why I am undecided.

Fair enough i like Winky. Thought he was great against Mosley twice. However i think the new breed of Abraham and Kessler will beat him.

I also believe Kessler would Ko Taylor. But Kessler is naturally bigger than Winky so it wouldn't be the best fight out there for him. Forrest would be easy pickings for Winky, Forrest has lost alot and doesn't move like how he use to.
