Bowe diminshed cause he punished his body outside the ring IMO

Then how do you figure the fact that Bowe was in his old championship form again in the second Golota fight, same weight etc, yet he was utterly dominated? And this was before he even turned 30. Either Bowe was completely washed up in those fights, or Golota was a superior fighter to Bowe. You gotta make a pick then.
A guy with his size shouldn't be done before 30. That's when swarmers go out, not the tall big guys with a long jab. Bowe didn't have defence, slugged a lot when it wasn't to his best advantage(career-wise, in the long run). Tyson, Mercer and Holyfield were powerful punchers that could slug for a long time, and I reckon taking clean big punches from Lewis or even Moorer wouldn't be healthy either.
I understand that him abusing his body was a big factor in his decline as well, but you can't tell me that in a diffirent scenario with Bowe still going to war with murderous punchers that he'd be more dominant for a long time.

If we are talking about wasted talent then don't forget Audley Harrison. He has the ability to beat any top heavyweight in his day, but every time he fights he looks like he is so scared of getting hit that it's all he concentrates on. Now that he has got KTFO I don't see him ever fighting again.

Tyson & Holyfield could avoid more shots because they were shorter than Bowe ,Lewis used to just hold to protect himself

u might say Eubank should'nt have been done against Zag,Collins,Eubank he was only 28 BTW

The dedication is a massive part of being a good fighter, if you haven't got that your haven't got much potential imo

in the 2nd golota fight he lost the weight to quick, if you watch the fight again you will see that after getting knocked down by golota he began to really give golota some stick if bowe was in shape he would have Ko golota in the 6-7 rounds

he did, until he got knocked down again and almost out in the next round. Bowe was diminished by the time he fought Golota, especially the second time when he didnt look strong but Golota looked like the best fighter in the world in those fights.

Hide could punch, and he hurt Bowe.

Golota could punch, and he hurt Bowe.

everytime bowe faced a puncher, he got hurt, because his defense was poor.
