Neither of those articles say how much Margarito would have gotten for the Cotto fight.

The most feared fighter in the world claimed he would have got less for Cotto and I would take his word over it because both Cotto and Margarito's promoters are the same.

He also thought Williams was the easier fight.

Of course pw is margs biggest payday because the cotto fight didnt go through then. There is no exact figure on what marg would have got against cotto but it would have been more then he made against williams. its common sense its a bigger fight on ppv.
