    Cotto's resume > Margarito's

another thing since your talking about ironic. your bashing margs resume and your hyping cotto's lmao. Marg lost his fights early but you can watch every marg fight and not one time has he been in trouble and hammered like cotto has. Cotto is about as good at the chicken dance as judah is. LMAO! Judah made him do the dance a couple times in their fight. Cotto was down and almost out in two rounds vs torres. Marg has yet to even be down in his carreer.

        Cotto > Margarito.

Every day of the week and twice on sunday.

Dont ever compare their resumes, Cotto has had less fights than Bumgarito and still has a better resume.

No, he would have made more against Cotto. Try a google search and you'll see. I don't know what Williams split was, but it was his own promoter who promoted the fight. Challenger usually take the short end of the pay to get their shot. Don't make up fiction and call it facts.

For almost two months, welterweight titlist Antonio Margarito's mandatory defense against Paul Williams hung in limbo during a legal fight between their promoters over the rights to the match.

"As quick as the press release was sent, Margarito backed out and signed a contract to face Williams for a career high purse, claiming that he would have made less money against Cotto and saw Williams as the easier opponent.

Dan Goossen will promote the fight pursuant to his winning purse bid of $1,506,250. Margarito entitled to 80%, or a career-high payday of $1.205 million. Goossen also promised to pay him an additional $395,000 on top of the 80%."

Neither of those articles say how much Margarito would have gotten for the Cotto fight.

your an idiot that obviously doesnt follow the sport. Please dont say cotto has a better resume. Margarito has faced pw wich is tougher then any opponent cotto has ever fought. and marg should have won. All this is ****** cotto and marg will fight this summer and you will find more people rooting for margarito then cotto. PW would beat judah and shane. not too mention an old shane almost beat cotto and had cotto backing up and holding in several rounds

I've always said this. Margarito is Bob Arum's creation. It's a hype machine...nothing more. The guy lost to a guy Cory Spinks whipped his ass with at 154.

That should tell you everything you need to know. Even if Margarito has gotten better as a fighter since then, he is still not good enough to warrent the overrated hype that he has received in the last 2 years.
