He didn't duck Williams because he was a mandatory and Williams had to make an unreasonable split to get the fight or else he would have fought Cotto.

Margarito gave up a better paying fight against Cotto to defend against Williams. His own promoter went to court to try and stop that fight. Margarito had choices but stepped up to fight PW instead. These are facts that can be easily proven.

Wrong, Margarito got more $$$ for the Williams fight and it was an 80-20 split in his favour, He fought Williams because he got offered more than what he was getting for Cotto. All that despite Williams being his Mandatory and WBO threatening to strip Margarito if he doesn't fight him.
