Yes absolutely. You have to give him props. But today it became clear he needs some more fights and improve more to have a chance against Wlad.

you are blind, he didn't win the first 4 rounds. He lost the first 2 rounds, and I'd give him 3 and 4. You have to land the most punches to win a round, maybe you don't know how to score boxing. Its not who lands the least punches, but the most. Understand?
That's why through three rounds Chambers landed 60 punches while Povetkin only landed 39.

Against Brock I thought there was rounds where he waited and waited to throw just like today's fight, but Brock wasn't able to keep up the pressure while Povetkin did. I remember watching the Brock fight and the only rounds I gave to Brock were the ones where he just outworked Chambers. Chambers just seems to worry about defense too much at times and doesn't take the risks that are sometimes necessary to win.
Yeah, but he was fighting brilliantly for the first rounds and just suddenly broke down after that. Their was no reason for Chambers to keep up the tempo. I understand that he's not volume puncher, but he was awfully being too defensive when he knew he was losing the fight.

Hopefully he gets himself together and continues because he could be really good.
Yes i agree. Hes a verry good boxer, good defense, verry fast and skilled but he has to give more effort in the ring. If he gets himself together he could be the new Chris Byrd, although hes more entertaining than Byrd and seems to have a bit more power!

          Nwahs is a moron.

I heard him say earlier that Povetkin wasn't green he was about as green as Tarver was.

Which is true, because Povetkin was an old olympic champ.

But Tarver didn't win a world title on his 15th freakin' pro fight.

          THey moved Povetkin pretty fast.

This was more a case of CHAMBERS losing the fight, then POVETKIN winning it.

This is a PERFECT PROOF that the better fighter doesnt always win.
Just because Chambers was landing fast accurate shots does'nt mean he's the better fighter. It's easy to look fast and slick when you only throw 5 punches a round. Povetkin does'nt care about being slick he just wants to win period.

I know Povetkin didn't defeat someone as immortal as Ladislav Kusarik. Listen Povetkin as holes in his defense, that is easily apparent, but he is busier than most heavies and he does something that almost none of them do and that includes Wlad; Sasha throws combinations from many directions. Don't underestimate someone who is capable of pressuring Wlad and keeping him thinking. When Wlad id comfortable he is dominant, when pressured like against Peter and Williamson, he makes mistakes too. Granted he didn't lose those fights, but he went down in both and wasn't able to really find a groove against Peter until late and he almost put Peter to sleep when he was comfortable. All I'm saying is Sasha is strong, with a respectable chin and makes his opponents uneasy, and that is trouble for anybody, period.

Evander Holyfield won the cruiserweight title in his 13 fight against the great Dwight Muhammad Qawi.

I've seen that fight, and Qawi didn't look great to me.

Im shure Povetkin will be out after the first sledgehammer-right Wlad lands. Just like Brock for example.

Perhaps Wlad will knock him out, but Povetkin is definitely better than Brock, and so it won't be as easy.
