British Fans take it too far sometimes but we are the most passionate set of fans at any sport. look at Hatton Mayweather we outsang the American fans the Yank fans looked like grannies compared to us...we just take things a little too far but its better than being quiet and boring. The national Anthem thing was ****** and it was caused from the intake of Alcohol it was'nt like they meant to disrespect America they just got caught up in the hype and occaisonComment

Yeah i guess, slightly anyway. Alot of fans here Cheer their man and Boo the other just for the crack, gettin into it, but mean no disrespect, i watched Floyd vs Hatton with loads of drunks and they gave Floyd **** all the way threw and once it was over they all said hats off to Mayweather he was Magnifecent! There are alot of Genuine Arse Holes here tho!!!Comment

Yeah we are, but do we care??? do we ****
The atmosphere at boxing matchs in britian are the best youll find, people are excited and pumped up, so what if a national anthem gets booed dont ****ing cry about it, if your offended that much then do something about it.
Look at germany boxing is massive over their, but **** me they all sit about like zombies clapping when something exciting happens, they all stand and respect every anthem, a would hate to have that type of atmosphere at boxing matchs over here
You should see what our football games are like over here, the songs would shock all you americans, theirs fighting at most games outside the stadiums etc, a put it down to us been a fighting race, dont matter if its football, boxing, night out in town, boys hoilday, theirs always tons of drink to be had and fighting

Real British boxing enthusiasts are not rude. We respect all fighters from every country. However there is a large number of so-called boxing fans or "hooligans" over here that do not know how to behave because they are, simply put, quite ******.Comment

I wouldnt read too much into the booing of national anthemns. We simply dont care about them that much over here, in the same way as we dont care about flags. Its just pantomime booing. I think its odd that you lot put so much attention and respect into a flag and an anthemn.Comment

Definitely, the Americans read far too much into that. To be fair, you could see that coming a mile off. I don't know why the insisted on playing them to be honest, they don't at most big boxing matches. We don't mean it to be as insulting as the Yanks take it. I don't care about our national anthem (it's ****in wrong anyway, god save the queen - bollocks to her) or our flag, really.I wouldnt read too much into the booing of national anthemns. We simply dont care about them that much over here, in the same way as we dont care about flags. Its just pantomime booing.
