Roy Jones Jr vs Kelly Pavlik.

Roy has stated that he would like to face the winner of either the Calzaghe/Hopkins match or the Jermain Taylor vs Kelly Pavlik match. Let's just say that Calzaghe decides not to fight Pavlik (that's if Calzaghe beats Hopkins of course) this will leave Pavlik open for any other match. How do you like his chances against Roy Jones Jr?

Oh and Roy is very comfortable fighting at 175, he's taken shots from big punchers like Tarver, so I'm pretty sure he can take what Pavlik dishes out, although not too much of it. My main concern is his defense, getting hit too much by Pavlik isn't a wise thing to do, he will need to move around the ring. I think Roy has a chance of beating Pavlik.

Tarver does not hit harder then Pavlk,Roy could try box,but sooner or later,Pavliks punches are gna wear him down,and sooner or later,Pavliks right hand is gona catch Roys chin... I think Pavlik would win,its a dangerous fight for Roy

I think thats a dangerous fight for roy.. he can win.. but I think pavlik and kessler would be the 2 most dangerous fights for Roy at this point.. Calz is alot safer bet..

Roy is most open to a straight right hand. If Pavlik bashes him with one, who knows what the effects would be. Roy would be knocked out, maybe seriously injured.

He can't start goin after these young guys.
