The 2 fight minimum makes is a lot tougher. Some great ones already mentioned.
    Gene Tunney/Jack Dempsey 2-0
    Michael Spinks/Larry Holmes 2-0
John Ruiz/Evander Holyfield 1-1-1 but the draw Ruiz kept the belt, so it was like a loss for Evander.
    Evander Holyfield/Mike Tyson 2-0

Well I did that because everyone can have a lucky night.

No one would have favored James Douglas for a rematch with Mike Tyson, ya know?

Yeah pretty dumb to say Douglas had Tyson's number, he just had it that night. (and you could argue that Tyson knocked Douglas out in the 7th or 8th)

I was going to say Rid**** Bowe/Holyfield 2-1. But I'm not sure how great Bowe wouldn't have been had he not stopped boxing at age 29 (except for those two meaningless fights a few years ago.)

Sorry but Vernon Forrest is a better fighter than Mosely.

I'm Vernon's biggest fan on here, and I might be inclined to agree.

But the view back then was that Mosley was better, even after Vernon ****ed him up after the first fight.

I must say that Shane's resume is better than Vernon's. The two wins over De La Hoya and the two wins over Vargas are pretty damn good.

Ill say the wins over Oscar were very good, even though the second is in speculation. Vargas was past it and shouldnt have been that close on the cards in the first fight. When I say better fighter I mean what they bring to the table, Vernon has basically the total package, cant say the same about Shane, who doesnt use his head in the ring. Ring smarts separate good fighters from great ones, without speed and strength what would Shane have ever been. I think Floyd's biggest atribute is his ring smarts, perhaps moreso than his speed and defense.
