Seemingly worse fighters who had a better fighter's number...

This could be fun! Minimum of 2 wins over the other guy is needed. (Can be 2-0 or 2-1). Please refrain from refuting that your favorite fighter is ACTUALLY better than so-and-so, because I am just going off of what the majority of people seem to think. I'll start with a few that I can think of:

Junior Jones vs. Marco Antonio Barrera
    Ricardo Mayorga vs. Vernon Forrest
    Vernon Forrest vs. Shane Mosley
Antonio Tarver vs. Roy Jones Jr.

Barkley - Hearns (upset TKO and a split decision win for Barkley)
Griffin - Toney (two close decisions, both went to Griffin)
Norton - Ali (I know Ali won 2 times but all fights were very close)
Zivic - Armstrong (Zivic won the first two but Armstrong did avenge that loss in their third fight)

            Good one!

How about... Julio Cesar Chavez vs. Meldrick Taylor?

That one can definately be argued, but people should have definately taken some note of what Taylor did for the first 8 rounds.

I'd say Shane Mosely has Oscar Delahoya's. Not that hes a bad fighter, but they were fights that Oscar shouldve won, though i think he won the second, in the books hes 0-2 against Shane.

yes but the second one was unarguably won by JCC.
