Don King has added Kali Meehan to the undercard, he'll be fighting Mario Preskar, an undefeated 24 year old heavyweight prospect.
Preskar has some potential but he is as yet no match for Meehan.Comment

hhmmmm
I REALLY wanted Valuev to be all the HW div needed....He ain't!
Lyakhovich fought an unexcusable and unforgivable fight against BRIGGS AND i HAVE YET TO EXCUSE ,forgive or forget. I still hate his guts for that night.
I guess I still have a glimmer of hiope that The giant can find enough balls and brains and determination to overcome his lethargy and be the dominant force that the HW div needs and that would reward him with 100's (yes I said 100's) of millions of dolars if he could do it. He won't. but I can still hope.
My pick? Valuev by decision, he still lands decent punches and has a good output rate. Too bad he's as dumb and lazy as a post. What a waste!Comment

I wonder if Lyakhovich was inactive by his own decision, or if King just wouldn't get him a fight? Or only offered him the one fight he didn't want (Ruiz)? A lot of King's fighters or past fighters (Donald, Barrett, Beck, Braithwaite) have complained that King won't get them a fight, yet won't let them out of his contract.Comment

So Lyakhovich is training with Ustinov?
He should be sparring with Tye Fields and Julius Long as well.
Anyway, I think Liakhovich lack of lenght will be determinant in this fight as Valuev will land from the outside almost at will, without much returning, and should break Liakovich down at the end of the fight.
I'm picking Valuev by TKO/KO at the 11th round.Comment

So now Meehan will not be facing Preskar on the undercard, instead he'll be fighting Jeremy Bates, who'd lost six of his past seven fights.Comment
